Reiki Healing

Ever since I was introduced to the profound life force energy of Reiki, my path has been forever changed. I discovered my calling to not only practice Reiki for myself but also to train and empower others to become Reiki practitioners. Along this journey, I have had the privilege of offering treatments across the United States and guiding aspiring healers on their own Reiki journeys.

What is Reiki, you may wonder?

Reiki is a combination of two Japanese words: “Rei,” meaning “God’s Wisdom,” and “Ki,” representing “life force energy.” To me, Reiki embodies the divine life force energy of the universe. It is a simple, natural, and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that is accessible to everyone. Reiki is an ancient technique renowned for its ability to reduce stress, induce relaxation, and promote overall well-being. In essence, Reiki can be likened to acupuncture without the use of needles. During a Reiki session, the practitioner administers healing energy through touch or hovering hands, activating the client’s innate healing process with the ultimate aim of restoring physical and emotional balance.

What Can I Expect?

When you arrive for a Reiki session, we will begin with a brief consultation. This allows me to share insights about my approach, discuss any prior experiences you may have had with energy or bodywork, and address any questions you may have about Reiki. We will also delve into your current or past health concerns to ensure a holistic understanding of your needs.

People experience a wide range of emotions. Some people drift into a deep sleep immediately, while others take longer to relax. Laughter or emotional releases are not uncommon as well. Each person’s experience is unique, and there is no “wrong” response while on the table.

Will I be touched?

The choice of touch or non-touch is entirely up to you, and we will discuss your preferences before the session begins. Reiki can be performed through direct contact with specific pressure points on the body or through a gentle hovering over the body.

Sensitive areas of the body are never touched during my Reiki treatments.

What happens after?

Reactions vary after the session as well. Some individuals may feel a sense of clarity and renewed energy, ready to take on the world, while others may feel a gentle need for rest. I always provide ample time for you to rest on the table and strongly recommend drinking plenty of water afterward to support the healing process.

What should I bring?

I recommend bringing a journal to jot down anything  that comes up during our conversation.

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably so you can fully relax during the session.
